Established in 1979 by Steve Gill, Steve's Cycle started as a motorcycle repair shop. Seven years later, the company grew as one of the leading motorcycle salvage yards selling a wide range of vintage motorcycle parts in Tifton, GA. Cycles of all kinds have been in Steve’s blood since he was a young boy. In fact, at age 14, he began delivering newspapers on a Sears Allstate Vespa scooter in Sylvester.

Our Story

Steve's Cycle began its history in the 1960s when Steve's family became a Yamaha and Hodaka motorcycle dealer in Sylvester. The Gills had a daily business operation selling new and used motorcycles. Steve and his brother had to go to the train station to pick up the crated bikes they ordered, which they assembled and rode back to the shop.

In 1971, the Gills saw an opportunity and relocated their business to Albany, where they sold BMW motorcycles. However, they eventually sold this family dealership in 1976.

The Legacy of Steve

Throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, Steve participated in various motocross and road racing competitions, including in Daytona. During his first race, he competed in the AMA 125 Sportsman Class, where he rode a bike he had built but unfortunately crashed. The following year, Steve rode a Yamaha TA 125 but faced a setback when the engine stopped working. His third year of racing ended with success in the Outlaw Class 250cc Single, with Steve riding a 74 YZ 250 bike he made and securing third place.

Since our humble beginnings in 1979, Steve's Cycle has experienced continuous growth and enriched its offerings to become a globally recognized shop today. Steve, who started as a newspaper delivery boy, later competed in Daytona and now proudly owns the world's largest dirt bike, scooter, ATV, and UTV salvage yard. With each milestone achieved, we have fulfilled our purpose of providing high-quality new and used motorcycle parts.

Headquartered in Tifton, GA, we currently hold an inventory of over 10,000 units. Spanning over seven acres, with three acres under the roof, Steve's Cycle Salvage is widely regarded as one of the best motorcycle junk yards carrying a large inventory of new and used ATV parts. We serve nationwide but focus on the Southeast region of the United States.

Condition

All sales will be assessed a credit card handling fee of 3.5% of the total sale for the costs of shipping supplies and credit fees charged to us, the merchant. All parts are sold in good faith that they are in good condition. All merchandise is sold as is; however, defective items will be replaced.

Returns

All returns must be made within 3 business days of receipt. No returns on electrical parts without warranty. Qualifying returns are subject to a 35% restocking fee. All returns must have a copy of the invoice and prior notification of return.

Refunds

No refunds unless the part/parts cannot be replaced. No refund for special order non-stock parts. Deposits and shipping costs are non-refundable.
